LHS Cheer Brings Home National Title for 2025
Congratulations to LHS cheer on a successful trip to the AmeriCheer Nationals in Hershey Park this weekend, where they won the Advanced Varsity Co-ed Division title!
It was a long road just to get there -- qualifying through the Merrimack Valley Conference competition (champs there too) followed by regionals and then states -- but they made it count! Lots of hard work paying off for some very deserving Lancers.

Teachers Learning in Dominican Schools
Lawrence teachers on the Immersion trip spent the day in schools in Tenares and La Torre where they assisted with a group activity with kids from kindergarten, first grade, and second grade that was. tied to the national curriculum theme of environmentalism. They met with many educators and observed classes through high school levels. They compared what they learned about the national curriculum in Tenares to how it was implemented in La Torre and made concrete connections between courses in the DR and courses in LPS.
